Sea in Cozumel

So much to see, but the sea is the best.

So many beautiful beaches and dive/snorkel sites!

We are always available to answer questions, or offer suggestions on ways to enjoy our beautiful sea.

S E A

Playa Palancar – There are always plenty of places to sit, so grab a couple of lounge chairs and an umbrella (they’ll be free if you order something to eat and/or drink) and relax. Don’t be surprised if a peacock strolls by. There are a few that live at Playa Palancar.

There is a bar/restaurant and wait service, so order all the cold cervezas, margaritas, fish tacos, guacamole and ceviche that your heart desires. Facilities include changing rooms, bathrooms, an outdoor shower, massages and three little shacks for souvenir shopping. Be sure to bring cash because the bar/restaurant and shops don’t accept credit cards.

The Money Bar – Great beach club!

You just walk in, sit down, start ordering off the menu and swim, snorkel, etc. Free to enter. At night there is music and dancing.

Punta Sur Beach Park – The largest ecological reserve in Cozumel. Discover the best beach in Cozumel, take pictures of exotic birds and wild flora and watch the crocodiles in their natural habitat. Don´t forget to climb the historic Celarain Lighthouse and from there enjoy the spectacular panoramic views, as well as taking the amazing boat ride across the Colombia Lagoon.

Chankanaab – (word that comes from the Mayan language and means “little sea) Located inside Cozumel´s National Marine Park. Enjoy their beautiful beach park and spend your day either snorkeling or scuba diving while admiring schools of tropical fish, colorful reefs and underwater statues. You can also enjoy a fresh hand-made tortilla at the Mayan casita, stop by the crocodile exhibition or the sea lion show, or perhaps relax with a massage in front of the lagoon that gives the park its name. These are only a few of the many activities you can enjoy at Chankanaab.

Mr. Sanchos Beach Club – I was able to spend the day with friends at Mr. Sanchos when restaurants and Beach Clubs were allowed to open back up in June of 2020.  Fabulous service, food, great beach and options for all inclusive (all the food and drinks you want) OR by plate and drink. They also offer parasailing and horseback riding on the beach.
